MForce will continue to be used as a central biometric Identity platform helping countries to establish and support new institutions such as Police or Military, being used to administer and manage training competency certification, medical records, stipend payments and ID Card Production.
The MForce platform was first delivered to the UNOPS division of the United Nations to assist with the registration and payment of personnel involved in the conduct of explosive ordinance disposal and over many iterations, has evolved to become the main system in helping certain communities and key Country institutions to establish a reliable Identity Register, from which additional services such as Stipend Payments, Training and general Identity affirmation can be delivered.
Now in its 6th iteration, MForce has, in its lifetime, provided enhanced physical security for Somalia’s National Constituent Assembly in July 2012 as well as extending Identity Registers to other regions and Government instituions e.g. Correctional Services.
