Graphic Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

To produce multimedia design work (across print and web) to visualise the Human Recognition Systems brand and products, taking a leading and proactive role in the look and feel of the company across all channels. Mediums will consist of, but not be limited to; social media, presentations, email, photography, event displays, digital banners, print adverts, brochures and video. The function of the role is to ensure a consistent and creative flow of content and ideas to enhance the Human Recognition Systems brand across all of our marketing channels.

Your duties will include:

  • Deliver a consistent corporate branding structure across all work, while at the same time suggest improvements and build on the existing design rules to help create a truly engaging and contemporary technology brand
  • Creatively support the business with ideas for promotional content
  • Support the wider business through ad hoc design requests when required
  • Assist the creation of emails, web pages and content on various platforms
  • Lead photography, image editing and elements of web design.
  • Produce videos (with agency support) to promote the company
  • Adhere to all internal administration processes/procedures and their respective timelines
  • Produce Microsoft Office documents and presentations in company branding
  • Identify and address personal and professional development needs, and demonstrate commitment to continued learning
  • Champion the company’s vision and values and contribute to the ongoing development of the Human Recognition Systems culture and identity


Qualifications and Skills


  • Excellent working knowledge of design applications, in particular Adobe programmes
  • Experience producing videos, both live action and animated


  • Design or marketing related qualification at degree level or equivalent
  • Photography and image editing experience




  • Highly impressive portfolio available as the key subject of consideration
  • Proven understanding and appreciation of consistent corporate branding principles and ability to carry a brand across various platforms (print & web)
  • Commitment to follow a set of agreed design rules across all outgoing artwork and contribute to brand guidelines if needed
  • Strong illustration skills
  • Understanding of layout and typography
  • Proven ability to display information in a clear and engaging way
  • Experience in video production, both live action and animated
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Ability to produce scamps and generate rough visual ideas for campaigns


  • Knowledge of marketing campaigns and key mediums involved
  • Experience working to briefs and creating artwork required for a marketing team for promotional purposes
  • Knowledge of web design and working ability in HTML and CSS
  • Experience creating promotional emails
  • Experience creating artwork for use in social media
  • Photography experience (including image editing)

  • Highly talented graphic designer, with a strong understanding of design principles and interest in current trends
  • An excellent knowledge of both print and digital design processes and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively, contributing new visual dimensions and concepts to a variety of projects
  • Positive, flexible and well organised
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong creative discipline and ability to take a concept through to delivery
  • A creative and commercial eye, with the ability to suggest ideas independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and work well under pressure
